Back in the early 60's, a 23 year old Dann Lewis built a resort in the Bahamas he named The Current Club. An early brochure describe's Dann's club as "an intimate resort offering the finest in accommodations, location, service and food".

"Good progress on a big new development at the Current, Eleuthera, was reported Friday by young American businessman Dann H. Lewis, of Hanover, New Hampshire."
"Dann Lewis, who at 22 must be one of the youngest overseas investors ever to come to the Bahamas."
from the Boston Herald, Nov. 27, 1961:
"The northern tip of this Caribbean isle has blossomed overnight into a resort because of a young Boxford, Mass. man, Dann Lewis."
"The Current Club is five duplex cottage units in a coconut grove, a clubhouse, and a dock equipped for all boating."
"The 23 year old Dann Lewis is now president of two firms: The Current Club, LTD, and the Current Development Co."
from Continental Airlines In-flight Magazine, 1962:
"Nearest the northern strip is the Current Club, in the town of Current. It was started by a young gradute of Dartmouth named Dann Lewis and it is the epitome of peace and quiet."
